TRANSFORMED was a dual exhibition held in May, 2020 right at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a show that challenged the idea of newness and rebirth in a time of shut-in. A timeline of uncertainty within self-exploration, more specifically in relation to not only the self but with God, and His word. A physical documentation of memory and worship through the rebirth of these emotions. The unbound nature of the color red is carried through each art piece as a representation of birth through fire and loss through entanglement. Haunted by night terrors of romanticized trauma, Transformed is about overcoming those fears and flowing into the prosperous light of a new era.
